Ok, so I have neglected this blog almost completely. The truth behind it is I didn't really get up to a whole lot last semester. So now we have a script and we are moving ahead. We held auditions, and 3 out of 18 people showed up, and we had two video audition tapes. From them we got out leading man and leading lady, so we now just need to go forward. We also have a location, and I have some props to work on!
The story is one of those break up stories, a couple coming to the end of a relationship, the woman at the end of her tether with her partner. We have some bloody fantastic ideas I can tell you!
It's all good now. Tomorrow we have a turorial with Tracy, where we can talk about stuff.

Monday the Fifth of October: Prelude to Genesis
So I have now set up my blog for narrative forms, for all the world to see my thoughts upon.
I am in the library, having just finished my script for work in the studio today. I really need to get to developing my character more deeply, sitting down and writing it all out. I have deliberately come in dressed as my character for the day, just in case, and I said I would anyway.
I was a little lapse perhaps last session, as I didn't relaise till late on in the lecture that in fact we were supposed to be developing characters from the extracts, where as I was initially just analysing the character fromt he extract. Oh well, I have startyed to develop upon that and I am creating a well rounded person, who should hopefully make for good story.
I have a few resources to draw upon, particularly a song by 'The Clockwork Quartet' called 'The Doctor's Wife'.
I also will look in to my own love of science fiction, stempunk, and victoriana, and get from that what I can. I am finally working on something on the course that I feel total empathy and dedication to, and I now truly feel that I can really let m,y creative side show.
James Marlow is born.
